  13. SETUP        
  14. INSTRUCTIONS:    WINDOWS 3.x- If you are reading this in Windows 3.x you may run the software
  15.         by clicking on the Setup.exe icon or by using the run option in the file menu
  16.         of the Program Manager.
  17.  
  18.         WINDOWS 95 - If you are reading this in Windows 95, this program has been
  19.         automatically executed by the system.
  20.  
  21.         SETUP- The buttons give you the capability of installing the screen saver or
  22.             running the video programs present on this CD.
  23.  
  24.         VIDEO CLIPS- The video clips are represented on this CD in three (3) formats:
  25.  
  26.                 LARGE:     320 x 240
  27.                 MEDIUM     240 x 180
  28.                  SMALL     160 x 120
  29.  
  30. Activating Screen Screamers:
  31.                  
  32.     WINDOWS3.x - Screen savers are activated through the desktop icon in the
  33.                  control panel. Select SCreen Screamers in the list dialog of
  34.                  the screen savers option.

  37.     WINDOWS 95- Screen savers are activated through the display icon in the
  38.                 control panel. Select Screen Screamers in the list dialog of
  39.                 the screen savers option.

  43.         -----CONFIGURING Screen Screamers-----
  44.  
  45.                    SETTINGS BUTTON: You may select a video clip or configure Screen 
  46.                                     Screamers with the settings option. 
  47.                                             
  48.                          Max Pixels/move-   movement between each frame in pixels
  49.                          Between Delay -    time delay between frames
  50.                          Move Delay -       time delay between moves
  51.                          Magnification % -  magnification of video window
  52.                          Random Rate -      rate of change in location
  53.  
  54.                          Blank Screen -     The video will play over a black background
  55.                                             with blanking ON or will play over the desktop
  56.                                             image with blanking OFF.
  57.                          Mute Audio -       Turns audio OFF or ON
  58.                          Continous repeat - Continously loops through the video clip
  59.  
  60.  
  61.                          Password Options - Secures your computer while you are away
  62.  
  63.                          Source Options -   Play video from either the windows/system
  64.                                             directory or another directory where you keep
  65.                                             your video clips ( WE do not suggest using the
  66.                                             as a source , because it is most likely that you
  67.                                             will not keep the Screen Screamers CD in the drive
  68.                                             all the time !!).
  69.                                                 
  70.                          Browse -           permits you to browse your system to locate
  71.                                             the video  clips you wish to select from. When you select 
  72.                                             a video clips file name, a thumbnail preview window will 
  73.                                             open in the lower right corner of the file select dialog 
  74.                                             window to preview the video clip before copying it to your
  75.                                             systems directory.You may preview how a video clip will look
  76.                                             as a screen saver with the preview option.

  78.                                             The video clips are copied to your windows\systems directory. You
  79.                                             may remove unwanted video clips with the delete option of the
  80.                                             file menu.

  82.                         Filename -          The filename of the video currently selected at the
  83.                                             clip Screen Screamers will play 
  84.

  88.       RUNNING PUZZLER and MULTIPLAY:
  89.  
  90.                            The accessory programs may be run directly through their buttons on 
  91.                            Screen Screamers start up screen. Their file browser will also preview
  92.                            the video clips in a the same manner as Screen Screamers.

  94.                            Multiplay is a good method of previewing a series of clips to see
  95.                            which one(s) you would like to select as a scream saver or simply to
  96.                            browse the various video clips on this CD.
